We welcome back John Keding and his progressive, melodic house ep - The Ascent, his second release on Sub-Label Recordings - Red Label.
The EP is a result of the current pandemic where emphasis is placed on the need to persist and prevail, to overcome a mountain, "The Ascent" or to dig deep "The Descent" and what you might find when you dig "Caves". John hopes we have all learned a lesson in taking care of our planet in the meantime and the appreciation of the smaller things in life which to some extent have been lost - fuelling his desire to produce music to express himself.
The songs are filled with hope and dreams represented through the rich synth work and upbeat grooves. An interstellar soundscape of sci-fi texture and deep melodic tones, driven forward with pure energy - is a delight to listen to.
