Sub-Label Recordings - White, are pleased to welcome Brian Keoco to the electronica family with this mesmerising three track release, titled - Timebound. The common theme of these tracks is Transformations and aims to take the listener out of themselves, then to return, maybe changed. With a superb blend of melodic, rhythmic and abstract sounds, this release encapsulates the idea of a musical journey.
Opening with 'Door', the musical aim is to create a feeling of change and transformation, there is a slight "edge" to the tune, resolving towards the end.
Eastern Station has an influence from Indian music, conjuring the image of a deserted railway platform somewhere in the Far East.
Timebound starts almost silent, then the journey builds to a crescendo, before returning to the silence again, a metaphor for life.
From start to finish, this release is a magical blend of tones and rhythms, synths and organic sounds that are produced with great care and fit pertly on Sub-Label, White. Brian Keoco, Timebound.
