Isolation
We welcome NuDivision to Sub-Label Recordings with this beautiful liquid drum and bass three track release.
Opening with Calling Out. This song captures the calming vibe of the EP as a whole which is about being free. By taking time away from fast paced life and stripping everything back, allows the concentration needed to making soulful and uplifting music. The lyric 'Calling Out' was inspired by being in a remote woods location and listening to the sounds of nature. There was a stream running nearby and animals 'Calling Out' to one an other.
Isolation. The track name comes from the time in Isolation during lockdown, longing to be somewhere else. Somewhere remote, with time to concentrate on music whilst being surrounded by inspiration. The delicate piano keys playing throughout the track resemble the calming surroundings, and this is also portrayed through the panpipes during this track. The easiness of the track in terms of it rolling on and progressing/building down in areas helps keep an Ambiant mood throughout.
Stargazing. This track really has a soothing feel throughout the track. Bird calls and other nature sounds can be heard through the track, layered with the soft piano chords and eventually string chords, to build the track in areas.
