Jack Bacon returns to Sub-Label Black with his Maple EP - A Three track collection, exploring the deep and experimental side of techno, with a pulsating feel throughout.
The EP kicks off with Sora (Sky) A grooving, punchy track, with rich synths gently opening to allow the percussion to cut through and drive the music forward to a climatic finish.
Next up we have Ki (Yellow) A gentle build, with the solid groove to the bass and kick. As the track develops we can hear the higher frequencies playfully dance and complimenting the bass and sparse drums, slowly building its way to an awesome crescendo.
And finally we have Aka (Red) An energetic finish to the Ep with its immediate engaging punchy bass-line and the gentle build of the percussion, allowing the pads and rich atmospheric sounds to flourish. This percussive driven track continuously pushes forward for the perfect finale to this journey of experiments through techno infused music.
