Silence

We welcome Liberated Turmoil and her EP - Silence to Sub-Label Recordings - Black. Representing the melodic side of the Techno spectrum, it takes listeners on a journey through outer space and provokes thinking about our existence.

The opening track of the EP "Human Being" drops you right into the action with its metal hitting snares and hammering kick, pulsating distorted bassline and hypnotic pads. The speed goes a level up after the melody layers on top of that. It makes you move in rhythm with the beat and dissolve in the futuristic arpeggiated synth.

The "Power Of Choice" continues a distorted melodic journey with the drone in the background. But the focal point is around the message that is spread throughout the track. The voice sounds almost alien at times which connects this track with the overall space theme of the EP. And the message simply reminds us to trust our gut.

In the closing track "Silence," the space theme represented in full force: with its arpeggiated melody that gives us these cosmic vibes, with the driving forward beats and sound effects as if we travel through the cosmos, and with the voice that sounds as if it comes from a found log recording. It contemplates loneliness and the meaning of life.
